Christ Fellowship is committed to devoting ten percent of our annual giving fund to missions. As a church we serve our neighbors by supporting local missions, as well as follow Jesus’ call to make disciples by supporting global missions.
About Our Missions
The support of our missions is guided by our Missions Committee. This committee regularly meets at 2 pm on the second Tuesday of each month. We invite anyone in the congregation with a passion for missions to join! If you are interested in serving on this committee, contact the church office.
Gospel Proclamation Ministries
At Christ Fellowship part of our mission is reaching others with the good news of Jesus! We support the spreading of the gospel through our global missionary partners. We were excited to begin a new partnership with Joey and Heaa Chang, who minister to the largely Tlingit population surrounding Kake, Alaska.
At Christ Fellowship, we refer to our local missions as Mercy Ministries. We support are the Salvation Army, the Community Food Bank, and Emmaus House. You can help support our Mercy Ministries by bringing nonperishable food for the Community Food Bank to our Sunday Morning Service.
Throughout the year, we hear of need outside our current missions. We try to support these special circumstances in whatever way we can. In the past this included projects like collecting gift cards for the victims of fires in Paradise, California. In addition, each Christmas Eve we collect a special offering. This year 100% of our Christmas Eve offering went to funding the Kenya Orphanage School. The school will be completed this year and will serve 120 students.
