Our name comes from the idea that a legacy is something of great value handed down from a previous generation. At Legacy junior high and high school students learn the valuable truth of Jesus love, which they can pass on to others. Legacy is open to all 6th-12th grade students. Our youth group meets Wednesday from 7-8:30pm for a time of games, worship, bible study and caring for one another!
Outside of our weekly meeting, Legacy does special events about once a month. These events have included movie nights, summer swim parties, a winter ski trip, and trivia nights! If you are interested in helping plan a special event for our youth, contact our youth ministry team at email@example.com.
Each summer and fall, students from our youth group attend Mount Hermon’s Ponderosa Lodge for week long and weekend retreats. At “Pondy” our youth learn about Jesus’ love while enjoying adventure ropes courses, participating in team competitions, and having small group discussions with their Mount Hermon counselors. Every year our students agree this is one of their favorite parts of summer! If you are interested in helping send our youth to camp, contact our church office to find out how!
We encourage our youth to love others by serving our community. Some of the service projects our youth have worked on are park clean-ups, cooking meals for the homeless, and caroling to our shut-ins.
