About the event
Saturday, Sept. 6, 10 a.m. - noon, the Fiber Arts group will be learning (and practicing) how to baste this quilt top to the layers of batting and backing fabric. The blocks from this quilt were previously sewn by various members of the group. In addition, we will start creating doll quilts and items (that we can sell) to support the Operation Christmas boxes.
New and beginner sewers, knitters and crocheters are invited.
If you have a portable sewing machine, please bring it with you. If you are working on a knitting or crochet project, please bring that. You can work on the group projects or your own... it's always a fun time of fellowship. Children welcome with a supervising adult. Teens and men are also invited! We are meeting in the REC building now so there is plenty of room to spread out!
